Acquisition Expands Pattern’s Clean Energy Portfolio Across the United States and Canada

HOUSTON, SAN FRANCISCO, TORONTO — Pattern Energy Group (Pattern Energy), a leader in clean energy and transmission infrastructure, today announced the completion of its acquisition of Cordelio Power, an independent power producer in Canada and the United States. The transaction further expands one of the largest independent clean energy infrastructure platforms in North America.

Through the acquisition, Pattern Energy adds approximately 1,550 megawatts of operating and in-construction assets, including 16 wind, solar, and energy storage projects across the United States and Canada. Pattern has also acquired the majority of Cordelio’s development pipeline in key U.S. markets, along with Cordelio’s experienced team.

The combined platform strengthens Pattern Energy’s scale, development capabilities, and operational expertise, enabling the company to more efficiently deliver complex clean energy infrastructure projects.

Evercore Group L.L.C. served as exclusive financial advisor to Pattern Energy. Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP and Osler, Hoskin & Harcourt LLP served as legal counsel to Pattern Energy. JPMorgan acted as financial advisor to Cordelio Power.
